Jackie currently lives in the Pearl District, where she's been since 1996, having decided early on that the area seemed like it might turn into something interesting. She is your source for all things going on there, real estate and otherwise. Born in Salem to the descendant of Oregon Trail pioneers, her Oregon roots are deep and strong. After a career in Journalism, writing for an upstart paper called Willamette Week, Jackie transitioned to real estate in 1978. A fountain of knowledge and experience, she is an invaluable asset in any real estate transaction. Active in her neighborhood, Jackie is always up to date on issues in the area, from new construction to the latest restaurants. Take a walk in the Pearl and you'll probably run into her!
Karen is the newest member of the Lowthian Team and brings with her an extensive background in management and public planning. An Oregonian since 1981, she just does have the requisite years of residency to be on the team, which is a benefit to us all! Her skills in project management and client advocacy along with her professionalism, energy, and determination are all ingredients to help our clients realize their real estate goals. Karen and Josh are active community members and both of their boys attended Portland public schools. When not enjoying the outdoors with Josh, Karen can usually be found tending to her backyard farming experiments; a testament to her salt of the earth Midwestern roots.
Josh has been selling real estate in Portland since 2005, and considers himself lucky to have learned from the best. Born and raised in the city he loves, Josh has extensive knowledge of Portland's many neighborhoods and all they have to offer. Wondering about school boundaries, what parks are close by, or whether a house is within walking distance of anything? Josh has the answers, and combined with attention to detail and a passion for customer service, these attributes make for a great realtor. An avid music fan and musician himself, Josh is tuned in to the local music scene, and can also be found enjoying the plentiful outdoor opportunities Portland and the region offer.
